In memorium: Peter “Ossie” Osgood, tragically died 01.03.06. A Chelsea and King’s Road legend. Tony Banks: died 2006; charismatic Chelsea fan. Ian Hutchinson: (54) died, Sept. 2002. I met Ian on many occasions at The Bridge: a wonderful character befitting the true Chelsea - Fulham Road social and sporting traditions. Matthew Harding: Vice-Chairman killed in a helicopter crash when returning from a Chelsea match at Bolton Wanderers - 1996. Matthew Harding Stand” named in his memory. Peter Hausman:  killed in a car crash, with his wife - 1977. A fine left winger of the Chelsea ‘Old School’. Phillip John / Andrew (17) Carter (44): tragic deaths in a helicopter crash: ardent Chelsea fan, and CFC Hon. VP. God Bless Patricia Lampard (58) who died, dear Mother to Frank Lampard. Her place of Peace and Rest, Riverside Cemetery, Barking,  next to her  mother.  Cheers to: Brian Mears, my Chelsea mentor, as an executive member 1978-81. Brian, and I together attended all  home and away Chelsea matches for a brace of seasons '77-'79. In the Blue Frame: Claudio 'Auntie' Ranieri, Gianfranco Zola, Gianluca Vialli, Danny Blanchflower, Micky Droy, Phillip Rhodes-Brown, Pat Nevin, Kerry Dixon, ‘Chopper’ Harris, John Bumstead, Bobby Tamblin ( 202 goals ), Clive Walker, Graham Le Saux, John Hollins, David Webb, Hutchins, Hudson, Geoff Hurst, ( who, I met at luncheons, and photo shoots at The Bridge on numerous occasions when he was briefly Chelsea's manager ) Dennis Wise, Ian Britton, Jimmy Greaves, Drake, Tommy Docherty, Bert Murray (g)( I have his signed photographs ); Yugoslavian Peter Borota (g) 1978-79, charismatic goalkeeper, who I met on occassion, and enjoyed some excellent meals in the Chelsea restaurant with Massimo, the restaurant manager. I, also, met, and dined with Geoff Hurst, the team manager one lunch time: and, all Chelsea squad 1975-80 memorabilia, photographs, signatures, displayed in my bureau;  Massimo "Three Barrels" Tonnieti Chelsea restaurant 1978 / 9.
